Commemorating the 175th anniversary of Felix Mendelssohn’s death, hear his Elijah at St. Stephen’s Cathedral in Vienna. The oratorio about the story of the biblical prophet Elijah is still one of the composer's best-known works. Mendelssohn translated the drama from the Old Testament into equally dramatic music, some of which has operatic features.
